This place is legit and adorable. It's a nice little cafe. Their food tastes really fresh, healthy, and it's a great little menu. They also have a bar inside (the bar is called something else, not the Alcove), and their bar menu looked great too but I didn't have a cocktail last I visited. There is a little bit of seating inside, but you totally want to eat outside here. I came when there was a little drizzle so my friends and I were luckily able to find a seat inside no problem. Also had some dessert here, a lemon bar and new york cheesecake. They were ok. The salads and soups were a lot tastier.Fun Fact: I think a few celebs visit here everything so often. We saw a minor character from Gossip Girl last we were there.

This was our first stop on our vacation. We went here on 9/2 so it was PACKED with people! I'm not sure it's always this busy or maybe it was just because of the holiday. It is a plus when they open regular hour on Labor Day. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Drinks are flavorful and they have a variety of pastries to choose from.

This place is amazing. The amount of different desserts they have each day is deliciously mind-boggling. The meals are very good too, as is their coffee. Lovely setting too. I have always been able to find street parking nearby.

Nice casual spot with spacious outdoor seating. The Caesar salad was really tasty as was the yogurt with granola, but a little pricey

Food is VERY good, get the chocolate chip bread pudding! The garden is charming and allows dogs. It's crowded and can be stressful ordering in a small room with a long line, but they're very polite and there are menus by the door so you can be prepared! :)

Was a very cool place in a very cool setting! Parking is a nightmare if you self-park, but be not worried! There is valet parking. The ordering process took a little bit of time as it was a busy day and there was only one person behind the counter taking the orders, but the friendly behavior of all the staff makes it up. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in L.A!

Great coffee shop to get some work done or meet up with folks. Just like any other place in Ktown, parking is atrocious. Coffee is great. The place is quite small and it was surprisingly busy on a random weekday late afternoon.Getting a table with an outlet can be tricky, so good luck!

Great food. Great ambience. We really enjoyed our experience here. The place had a long line the entire time we were there but it moved quickly. Definitely will go back.

I feel like I'm on the set of Alice in Wonderland. The food and scenery are top notch. Portions are huge. They did take my favorite sandwich off the menu recently but I quickly found a new sandwich. Any meal of the day is good. Service is also high quality.

You have to order your meal inside the cafe bar first, then when you get a number go back to the host in the front and they'll find you a table. There's plenty of outdoor seating, very dog friendly. I had the alcove club, which was delicious. The fruit platter was well worth it, it had persimmons, grapefruit, pomelo, and apples. They also offer valet parking for $7.50

Great place to relax outside. We loved this place. Great food but the dessert was where it was at. The super rich, gigantic pieces of cake were just amazing.

Food: 3/5Value: 3/5Service: 4/5Ambiance: 5/5Parking: 3/5Came here for brunch and tried their avocado toast and their salmon breakfast stack. The avocado toast was not really worth how much it cost as the portion of avocado was small, but it was unique in that they had it topped with honey and grapefruit. Don't think I am a fan but was worth trying. The salmon stack was good as it was potato pancakes (tastes like a flat hash brown) topped with egg and salmon. The crispiness of the hash brown added texture to the dish but nothing extraordinary. Overall, this place is great for the ambiance and makes a cute date spot but don't think I'll come back as there are so many brunch spots I still want to try in LA
